Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Paul has 37 years of experience as a clinician and with department administration. He has served on faculties at several universities teaching physical therapy procedure, kinesiology and neurophysiology. Currently, he practices with special interests, including pain management, balance/vestibular therapy and orthopedic outpatient care.

Rebecca has 8 years of experience in outpatient, inpatient and acute rehabilitation. Her patient populations include orthopedic, neurological, trauma, and general medical.
Rebecca received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Dickinson College and her doctorate in physical therapy from Temple University. Rebecca has continuing education in vestibular rehab, stroke and bone/joint health.

Elena has more than 16 years of experience treating children with autism, apraxia, hearing loss, language disorders, speech disorders and fluency disorders. She has also treated adults with dysphagia, CVA, TBI and neurological disorders. Her special interests include apraxia, dysphagia, CVA and TBI.
Elena has her master's of science degree, as well as ASHA certification and a certificate of clinical competence. She is certified in vital stim therapy and videfluoroscopies.

 | Nancy Forshey, Occupational Therapist
Nancy is a certified hand therapist (CHT), treating individuals with injuries to the hand, wrist and elbow at Station Medical Center. These can include fractures, tendon or nerve injuries, dislocations, wounds, arthritis or neurological conditions to name a few.
She is also a certified lymphedema therapist, treating both upper and lower limbs. She provides treatment for injured workers and completes ergonomic assessments. She focuses on enabling her patients to restore as much function during daily activities as possible. She has experience in acute care, long term care and behavioral health.

Geoff is a CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist) through the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation Certification. He has worked at Altoona Regional for the past 25 years in Behavioral Health Services and Physical Medicine, providing leisure education, social recreation and leisure wellness services.
He also has ten years of outpatient experience in community recreation services to behavioral health residents.
Geoff is a board member of the Pennsylvania Therapeutic Recreation Society. He received his bachelor’s degree in community recreation from Penn State University.

Ken has served Altoona Regional for 16 years treating necks, headaches, shoulders — including therapy following rotator cuff surgery — backs, hips, knees, and ankles. He also treats patients who have suffered from a stroke, Bell's palsy and chronic pain. Ken also works with patients who need aquatic therapy.

Lori has been a speech-language pathologist for 19 years, having been with Altoona Regional for nearly 16 years. She has worked in a school and a skilled nursing facility. She has also done home health visits.
At Altoona Regional, Lori has been both an inpatient and outpatient therapist. She has evaluated and treated both children and adults. Treatment has been provided for articulation, language, cognition, swallowing, voice, fluency and accent reduction.
Lori has been performing video fluoroscopes for 12 years. She received her bachelor's and master's of science degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is certified in vital-stim for dysphasia management.

Maggie McCloskey, Speech Language Pathologist
Maggie has been a licensed speech-language pathologist since 1997. She has worked in skilled nursing facilities, home health, special education preschool through sixth grade, high school and currently at Altoona Regional. Additionally, Maggie's sees outpatients for voice, dysphasic management, articulation and language disorders, and neurological disorders. Inpatient treatment includes a variety of these areas, with the addition of trauma and stroke.
