- Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS)

- Spring and fall trauma symposiums
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course - This is a 130 hour course. Successful completion allows the candidate to test for Pennsylvania state certification as an EMT, qualifying the individual to pursue membership with an ambulance service. Students will learn rapid intervention in trauma and emergency medical situations. The course is divided into seven modules: preparing to be an EMT; airway; patient assessment; medical emergencies; trauma; special populations; and operations.
