Medical Director
Arthur J. DeMarsico, D.O.

Dr. DeMarsico was recruited to Altoona Regional in 2001. He is a board certified vascular surgeon with a comprehensive endovascular background. He received his fellowship training at multiple affiliates of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, including The Deborah Heart and Lung Center, as well as the Medical College of Pennsylvania.

Dr. DeMarsico performs all of the cutting edge minimally invasive procedures in the peripheral vascular circulation, with a particular interest in endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. He continues to attend numerous vascular meetings to bring the newest technology to our region. He is in the process of starting the first carotid stenting program in our region to complement the open vascular procedures performed at the health system.
