Licensed Practical Nurse Accepting applications for part time LPN positions on a variety of shifts. Candidate must be a graduate of a Practical Nursing Program and hold a valid Pennsylvania Practical Nursing license. Executive Director - Mission Exceptional opportunity available for management of the Mission Department. Successful candidate will have responsibility for the integration of Mission and Values within Altoona Regional Health System, leads the implementation of Mission functions, programs and activities, and when appropriate, collaborates with the local Diocese and other area churches and clergy. A Master's Degree is preferred for this position; however a Bachelor's Degree is required. Prefer studies in Theology or Religious Studies. Certification by national certifying agencies for pastoral care preferred upon hire or obtainable within two years of hire: NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains); AAPC (American Association of Pastoral Counselors); ACPE (Association of Clinical Pastoral Education); APC (Association of Professional Chaplains); ACC (Academy of Certified Chaplains). Completed pertinent course work in Theology, Psychology and Pastoral Ministry. Completion of 4 units of CPE. Nursing Service Assistant and Training Course Positions Accepting applications for openings for part time vacancies on evening and night shifts to include a rotation when required. Candidate must have a high school education. If candidate is not already trained through an approved nursing assistant program then Altoona Regional Health System will provide a non-certified training program to candidates who are selected for employment. The course includes both classroom instruction and time in an Inpatient Unit. Patient Access Representative Full time evening shift with rotation position available for a Patient Access Representative. Successful candidate must have a high school education and be a graduate of a medical office specialist or medical secretarial program. In lieu of the aforementioned education, will accept one-year post high school business training education with an emphasis in customer service and third party reimbursement, along with the knowledge of current fiscal health care services. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. Surgical Technician Full time position available for a Surgical Technician on the Open Heart Team to work a day shift with rotation and call. Candidate must have a high school education and be a graduate of a Surgical Technician Program. Previous experience is desired. Must maintain CPR certification.
