Surgery Center and Altoona Hospital Campus
Traveling on I-99
Take the 17th Street exit (exit #33) 1.4 miles to 6th Avenue. Turn right onto and follow 6th Avenue approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto 7th Street. Cross the 7th Street Bridge onto Altoona Hospital Campus. The Surgery Center is to the left of the hospital's parking garage. To access the Surgery Center parking lot, turn left onto Howard Avenue. Turn right onto 9th Street.
From Route 22 West
Follow signs to I-99 North and follow directions above.
From Route 22 East
Follow signs to I-99 North and follow directions above.
From Route 36
From Route 36, turn left onto 13th Avenue if traveling south or right if traveling north. You will eventually come to a T intersection at 11th Street. Turn left onto 11th Street and make the second right, onto Howard Avenue. The Surgery Center and Altoona Hospital Campus are on the left. For Surgery Center parking, turn left at 9th Street. For the Altoona Hospital Campus, turn left at the second stoplight onto the main campus.
From the Altoona-Blair County Airport
Leaving the airport, make a right at the stop sign. At the stop light in Martinsburg, make a left onto Route 164 West. At the stoplight in Roaring Spring, make a right and follow Route 36 North to I-99 signs. Follow I-99 North directions above.
From the State College Airport
Leaving the airport, make a left on Fox Hill Road. Make another left on Fox Hollow Road. Follow to State College Bypass (Route 322 West). Follow Route 322 West to Route 220 South, which eventually becomes I-99. Follow I-99 South directions above.
How to get to
Bon Secours Hospital Campus
Traveling on I-99
Take Frankstown Road exit and make a right turn at the light if traveling north, or a left turn at the light if traveling south. Follow that road (Frankstown Road/Union Avenue) for two miles. Watch for hospital on the left at 7th Avenue.
From Route 22 East
Follow signs to I-99 North and follow directions above.
From Route 22 West
Watch for sign to Altoona and make right onto Frankstown Road. Follow Frankstown Road, which eventually becomes Union Avenue. Watch for hospital on the left at 7th Avenue, about two miles from the I-99 interchange.
From Route 36 (either direction)
Follow Route 36/Union Avenue to 7th Avenue and Bon Secours Hospital Campus.
From the Altoona-Blair County Airport
Leaving the airport, make a right at the stop sign. At the stop light in Martinsburg, make a left onto Route 164 West. At the stoplight in Roaring Spring, make a right and follow Route 36 North to I-99 signs. Follow I-99 North directions above.
From the State College Airport
Leaving the airport, make a left on Fox Hill Road. Make another left on Fox Hollow Road. Follow to State College Bypass (Route 322 West). Follow Route 322 West to Route 220 South, which eventually becomes I-99. Follow I-99 South directions above.

From ALTOONA HOSPITAL CAMPUS
to Bon Secours Hospital Campus
1. From Howard Avenue (the main street in front of the hospital), turn onto 8th Street and follow the bridge to 7th Avenue.
2. Turn right onto 7th Avenue, which is a one-way street.
3. Follow 7th Avenue to Bon Secours Hospital Campus at 25th Street.
4. Visitors may enter through the front. Patient entrance is around back on the 8th Avenue side at the revolving doors.
From BON SECOURS HOSPITAL CAMPUS
to Altoona Hospital Campus
1. From 7th Avenue (the one-way main street in front of the hospital) make the first available left. Go one block and turn left onto 6th Avenue, a one-way street. Follow to 7th Street.
2. Turn left onto 7th Street and follow bridge signs to Altoona Hospital Campus.
3. Patient drop-off and valet parking are available by making a right as soon as
you enter the campus grounds (follow signage).
4. Parking is also available in the parking garage.
