Breastfeeding Class at UPMC Altoona

First Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m.

Are you considering breastfeeding as a great health choice for you and your baby? Have you already decided to breastfeed and would like more information? Then this class is for you!

Classes are taught by an international board-certified lactation consultant in the Allegheny Room on the 6th Floor of UPMC Altoona.

Breastfeeding Connections Support Group

Fourth Wednesday of each month, 10 a.m. or 5:30 p.m.

Relaxed atmosphere where new moms can meet and learn about breastfeeding and parenting. Information and professional guidance provided by board certified lactation consultants.

This support group is available in the Conference Room at Station Medical Center.

Four week course, Monday evenings

Our childbirth series offers expectant parents an opportunity to receive answers to your questions about giving birth. We review what typically happens when mom comes to the hospital in labor.

This class meets in the Magee Lecture Hall on the 6th Floor of the Outpatient Center at UPMC Altoona.
